School Safety

The safety of our students and staff is a priority at Perryville High School. In order to be prepared for potential safety-related events, the students and staff of PHS routinely participate in planned school safety drills.  

The PHS staff has worked closely with the Cecil County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) to fully understand and prepare to enact ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) protocols. Classroom lessons are conducted to teach and review how to incorporate these protocols in the event of a school safety incident. These protocols are also incorporated into Active Intruder Drills throughout the school year.
